Kathryn and Rachel
We're looking to adopt a baby
Hello, we are Kat and Rachel! Thank you for being interested in our family and taking the time to learn more about us.
We met in 2013 while Rachel was in grad school, and Kat was working. On our first date, we went out for coffee and tea and talked about our shared love of travel. We had so much fun we ended up spending the entire day getting to know each other! After that, we saw each other nearly every day and quickly fell in love. In 2015, we got married in the mountains of Virginia, surrounded by our family and friends, with our dogs as ring bearers!
We are excited to continue to grow our family. Our first child, Ellery, was placed with us in September 2020 at less than two weeks old and has blossomed into an intelligent, caring, and strong-willed kid. Ellery has grown to share in our love of cooking and has become an expert in cracking eggs! She can't stop talking about having a sibling and loves to hold and spend time with her newborn cousin. We can't wait to welcome another child into our home.
